Industrial Breakthrough: Kazakhstan Patents Its Own Casing Pipe Thread Connections — ARKA PRO 1 and ARKA FLUSH

Kazakhstan has taken an important step toward technological independence in the oil and gas industry.
QazExpoCentre-Pipe has officially received patents for two proprietary utility models of casing pipe thread connections — ARKA PRO 1 and ARKA FLUSH.

This marks the first time a domestic manufacturer has offered a full-fledged engineering alternative to foreign premium connections, successfully competing with companies such as Tenaris, Vallourec, Hunting, and JFE.

🔹 ARKA PRO 1 — a coupling connection designed for highly complex wells, maintaining seal integrity under extreme mechanical loads.
🔹 ARKA FLUSH — a flush (coupling-free) connection with enhanced sealing and deformation resistance, developed for workover operations, horizontal drilling, and operation in aggressive environments.

Both thread connections are tailored to real operating conditions of Kazakhstan’s oilfields and developed in line with the requirements of oil and gas companies operating in the region.

The granted patents for these utility models confirm the originality, technical novelty, and industrial applicability of solutions created in Kazakhstan, based on domestic manufacturing.
